Recorded for the Sonic Router x Uncle Albert Mix Series
Sonic Router was a music blog started by Oli Marlow, which went on to form Sonic Router records
Uncle Albert was a music blog started by Tomas Fraser which went on to form Coyote Records
2012 marked a transitional period for Mumdance as he moved from his “first wave” of music which was epitomised by 2010’s “Different Circles - The Mixtape," into the “second wave,” which was epitomised by 2013’s “Twists & Turns.”
This is further illustrated by the Different Circles podcast (2011-2013) where you can hear the transition between the two styles and the forming of the ideas and sounds that Mumdance became chiefly known for in the following years
Mumdance also met Logos during this period and the pair formed a fruitful production partnership.
