“Weightless Volume 01” was the debut release on Different Circles and the first of two compilations that coined the “weightless” sub-genre.

Weightless music is sound system-focussed with minimal percussion, combining ideas from grime “devil mixes” popularised by East London MC Wiley, musique concreté, sound design, ambient, new age and the UK hardcore continuum.
